Laminated Shim Materials All types of materials and quantities readily available in-house for production. The Laminated Shim Co. is the originator of laminated shim stock and has been the leader in the field of peelable laminated shims for nearly a century. Currently available is a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. Laminated Shim Company's products are the ideal, cost effective choice for all your shimming requirements.
Laminated shim stock is available in either fully laminated, partly solid, or partly laminated sheets. The table below lists the respective specifications for each material type, as well as current customer specifications.
Laminated Shim manufactures sheets of laminated materials such as Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Polyimide Plastic Film, also known as Kapton (Kapton is a trademark of DuPont).
Our laminated materials meet the specifications of 09A063, 09A064, P103, MIL-S-22499, supersede by, AMS-DTL-22499, AMS4013, AMS4508, AMS5500, BAC1524, BAC1534 and BMS7-335.
Laminated Shim also manufactures parts to customer drawings and/or specification. These include laminated shims, solid shims, tapered shims, edge bonded shims, washers, spacers and metal stampings.
